Pymble Playgroup is a dedicated playgroup space in the heart of Pymble. It has been providing local children with a fun and secure environment to play and learn for almost 50 years.
Pymble Playgroup is a private house offering babies to pre-school aged children the convenience of a friendly all-weather environment with plenty of toys and outdoor space. Bring along snacks, connect and socialise with parents and let the kids play during school terms.
Playgroup is a place where parents and carers can support each other through sharing ideas, experiences and information. And where children can build long-term friendships through a regular opportunity play. We recognise the importance and benefits of free play, which is not directed by an adult in any way, but where children choose activities or games that interest them. All Sessions are free play with some Sessions running with more structure than others.
Please get behind our fundraising - all proceeds help to improve Pymble Playgroup and keep us running.
These LIMITED EDITION Tea Towels will help commemorate the upcoming 50 years (2023) of Playgroup at 57 Merrivale Rd.
Ku-ring-gai Historical Society researched the name of the house ‘Wiangaree’ and the date the house was built ‘1909’, details which feature alongside the beautiful watercolour painting from Caroline Oesterheld - a renowned Sydney artist and a member of the Ku-ring-gai Art Society.
These make a great gift, order a few extras for family and friends or as a keepsake. If you've ever attended Pymble Playgroup, please support us now.
